Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for full-time shifts at The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods in Sarasota, FL. Responsibilities include admissions, discharge and transfers of residents; medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians; medication administration; adherence to infection control and center policies; collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; identifying and reporting changes in residents’ condition; nursing care for long-term or rehabilitative residents; data collection and documentation; adherence to state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies; supervising other nursing personnel when applicable; maintaining knowledge of documentation requirements and equipment use; ensuring patient/resident rights and confidentiality. Qualifications include an active LPN license, CPR certification, and AHCA background screening; two years of nursing experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
- CPR Certification required
- Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
- Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening
