Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing nursing assessments, patient admissions, and care planning under RN supervision. Responsible for contributing to Nursing Care Plans, administering medications and IV therapies, performing nursing procedures, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythm, assisting with discharge planning, and educating patients and families. Exercises clinical skills including 12-lead EKG interpretation, venipuncture, phlebotomy, suctioning, wound and ostomy care, and adherence to ABN guidelines while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently licensed as an LPN by the State of Alabama.
- Minimum of one year experience, hospital experience strongly preferred.
