Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed at Louisburg Health & Rehab Center for geriatric care. Responsibilities include assisting in direction of nursing services, delegating duties to professional and non-professional nursing personnel under RN supervision, observing patients for signs of adverse change, notifying attending physicians of emergencies and deaths, implementing changes in orders as instructed by physicians, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements: high school graduate, LPN license from an accredited school, current valid NC license with renewal verification, willingness to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies, ability to provide quality nursing care and follow doctors’ orders, CPR certified annually, and participation in in-service trainings and staff meetings. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year
- CPR certified yearly
- Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required
