Licensed Practical Nurse, Lead-Stony Brook Children’s Service, UFPC

Oversee clinical staff and ensure standards of practice, infection control, and quality metrics are maintained across the practice. Collaborate with the Lead Physician and Ambulatory Office Manager to certify staff, manage medication inventory, and assign personnel to address staffing shortfalls. Perform clinical duties including injections and patient teaching while monitoring lab logs and maintaining the medication room. Assess staff performance, approve time off requests, and make recommendations to improve physician productivity. Work closely with other clinical leads to ensure process consistency across locations.
