Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) will be responsible for providing direct nursing care and health services to individuals with disabilities in a residential program. Key duties include medication administration, maintaining medical records, advocacy, liaising with healthcare providers, and supporting daily living activities. Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts Nursing license, have completed an accredited LPN program, and preferably have two years of nursing experience in a community health setting. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited and approved licensed practical nurse program.
- Must have current Massachusetts Nursing license.
- Two years of general nursing experience and/or service to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community health setting is preferred.
- Driver's license for at least one year with a good driving record history.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with adults with DD and behaviors is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster positive relationships.
- Basic to intermediate computer-level competency.
Additional Requirements
- Acceptable CORI results according to Bridgewell policy.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle.
