Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as an LPN in a busy Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) across multiple sites. Collaborate with clinicians (MD/NP/PA/CNM/DO), collect samples (blood, urine, stool, sputum) and perform routine tests, prepare patients for examinations, conduct EKG and spirometry, administer vaccinations per NYS and CDC guidelines, administer IM medications, and maintain thorough patient charting with high attention to detail. Emphasis on delivering clinical care that meets or exceeds standards and patient satisfaction, with opportunities for global travel to JRCHC's international clinics and flexible 40-hour weeks in certain teams. The role requires current NYS LPN licensure, CPR/BLS, and ability to travel between sites; compensation hourly in the $28-$34 range, adjusted by experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current NYS state licensure as a LPN
- Direct experience in primary care (preferred but not required)
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Reliable transportation between sites
