Job Summary
Provide safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) while performing as a positive member of the healthcare team. Maintain current Kansas LPN licensure and IV certification, and obtain Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within the first 90 days of employment. This role requires a minimum of five years of hospital experience, though recent graduates of a nursing program are eligible to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
- Current Kansas LPN licensure
- Intravenous (IV) certification
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment
