Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic patient care under physician/RN supervision, including administering medications and vaccines, monitoring vital signs, changing wound dressings, performing patient assessments, maintaining confidential medical records, and communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare personnel. The role supports care in post-disaster missions and requires responsiveness within 24 hours and care establishment within 72 hours, with onsite duty until mission completion. Shifts are 12 hours, on-call/on-notification; duties may include travel to Sarasota, FL. Must hold a Florida LVN/LPN license and graduate from an accredited nursing program; minimum one year of professional LVN/LPN experience. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS are preferred. Ability to work in austere environments, navigate electronic health records, and demonstrate strong administration, documentation, and interpersonal skills, along with cultural competency and confidentiality.
