Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, assisting health care providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures. Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs, and administer TB skin tests while conducting lab tests to ensure results reach the correct physician. Review patient charts to report observed symptoms, reactions, and condition changes, then coordinate transfers to medical facilities and document all contacts using the POMR format. Work a 6a-6p or 6p-6a three-twelves schedule with competitive pay, 401K, and comprehensive health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current/Active state license as an LPN
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include a background check and drug screen
