Job Summary
Conduct initial clinical interviews, process patient vital signs, and perform basic triage for established patients, walk-ins, and telephone inquiries. Accurately complete clinical forms, document lab results, and assist clinicians with procedures including minor surgery, medication administration, and IV starts. Provide patient education, train unlicensed assistive personnel, and manage inventory while maintaining medical equipment. This role requires an Alaska LPN license, one year of clinical experience, and current BLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program or equivalent
- Current BLS Certification
- Current Alaska LPN license
- Cultural competence in working with diverse populations
- One year experience
- One year of experience in an outpatient clinical setting
- Phlebotomy, injection and intravenous skills
- Recent computer skills
- Knowledge of common office equipment (copier, fax, printer, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in an outpatient clinical setting preferred
