Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver care in a nursing unit, including assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising the activities of Certified Nursing Assistants. The role requires effective communication skills, clinical assessment abilities, a working knowledge of nursing practices, and a commitment to providing compassionate care to residents. Candidates must hold a current, valid nursing license in Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in Missouri
- Demonstrated clinical assessment skills
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- Effective interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary care team
- Basic understanding of computer technology
- Proven written and oral communication skills
- Proven decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to relate positively with employees, residents, and families
- Positive attitude and desire to work with the aging population
