Job Summary
Implement nursing care for assigned patients while assisting the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Utilize advanced patient care skills following required education and training. Maintain basic computer application knowledge and hold a Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license. Complete thirty hours of IV certification and the Basic Arrhythmia test within ninety days of employment. Adhere to background screening requirements through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing
- thirty (30) hour IV certification
- successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within ninety (90) days of employment
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL Licensed Practical Nurse
- background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
