Job Summary
Implement nursing care for assigned patients while assisting the RN in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Utilize advanced patient care skills following education and training. Maintain basic working knowledge of computer applications and hold a Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license. Complete 30 hours of IV certification upon hire, with ACLS, NIH, and Basic Arrhythmia certifications required within 90 days. All individuals providing care must undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- meet the educational requirements as outlined by the Florida Board of Nursing
- thirty (30) hour IV certification
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL Licensed Practical Nurse
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS upon hire and required within 90 days of employment
- NIH upon hire and required within 90 days of employment
- Basic Arrhythmia and required within 90 days of employment
