Job Summary
LPN II in the Family Medicine Unit serving as the Unit Charge Nurse within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include communicating patient and staff information to Nursing leadership, administering medications per provider orders, delivering health care teaching, monitoring patient status, maintaining equipment and records, adhering to nursing policies, and supporting efficient patient flow. Must have a standard high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved LPN program, 2 years of acute or ambulatory care experience, Florida LPN licensure, CPR and IV certification, and strong communication skills (English/Spanish preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a standard High School or GED Equivalent
- Graduate from an approved Licensed Practical Nurse Program
- Two years experience in acute care or ambulatory care setting
- Licensed to practice as an LPN in the State of Florida
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- IV Certification
