Job Summary
Provide direct health services to up to 1,600 students, independently managing the campus clinic while ensuring 100% immunization compliance and state-mandated screening accuracy. Administer medications, triage injuries, and notify parents of emergencies, acting as a health liaison between the school, physicians, and families. Maintain accurate electronic and physical records, coordinate supply inventory, and report safety hazards to the Assistant Principal of Operations. Serve as a health advocate by promoting preventative practices, participating in school health committees, and assisting with Individual Education Plans.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- LVN or LPN licensure
- Current certification in CPR/AED/ First Aid
- Certified by the state department of state health services to conduct vision, hearing, spinal, and AN screenings
- 2+ years' experience in a health-related position
