Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on hospice care for terminally ill patients. Responsibilities include establishing and implementing hospice plans, administering medications, providing emotional support, maintaining documentation, ensuring a safe environment, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and coordinating with healthcare teams. A minimum of one year nursing experience is required, along with a valid Tennessee LPN license.
Required Qualifications
- Current Tennessee LPN License
- Minimum one year nursing practice or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn hospice care
- Experience in Hospice, Oncology, Home Health and/or long-term care
Additional Requirements
- If required to drive, must have current driver's license and automobile insurance as required by Tennessee State Law
