Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Healogics provides wound-related and basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Provider, adhering to all policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in patient care, intake and discharge, communicating with the care team, performing hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties, and documentation assistance. Successful candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and hold a current LPN or LVN license. A minimum of two years’ experience as an LPN/LVN is required, including one year in a skilled nursing facility or long-term acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice
- Two (2) or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, to include one (1) or more years in SNF or LTACH setting
Desired Qualifications
- Wound care experience preferred
- Demonstrated organization, prioritization and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal, listening, as well as oral and written communication skills
- Customer service skills and follow-up skills
- Ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of computerized nursing systems
