Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides wound-related and other basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider at Healogics wound care centers. Essential functions include assisting with patient intake and discharge, gathering patient information, and performing hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties after completing necessary training. The LPN must demonstrate competency in Basic Life Support (BLS), possess strong organizational and communication skills, and have two or more years of LPN/LVN experience, including a year in skilled nursing or long-term acute care settings. Candidates are required to maintain current LPN or LVN licensure and must be adept in working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice
- Two (2) or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, to include one (1) or more years in SNF or LTACH setting
