Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at HCA Healthcare providing hands-on care for patients transitioning from the ICU, including administering medications, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), managing tubes and drains, and supporting advanced monitoring. Monitor heart rate, oxygen levels, and neurological status, document care clearly, educate patients and families, and collaborate with RNs, doctors, and specialists to stabilize and advance patient recovery.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN license
- Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse
- Vocational School Graduate
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date
