Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at CareNow/HCA Healthcare. In this role you will perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections; manage patient charts in the EHR, conduct chart audits, apply splints, dressings, and bandages, assist with check-in/check-out, and maintain records of in-house and sent-out lab work. You will keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress, ensure adherence to occupational procedures and preference cards, and collaborate with the clinical team to deliver patient-centered urgent care. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and an active LPN license in the state of residency, with 1+ year of clinical experience preferred; BLS certification within 30 days and federal breath and drug screening certifications within 3 months. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing
- Current Practical/Vocational nursing license in state of residency is required
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred
- Experience using an EHR system is extremely helpful
- The ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
