Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Hancock State Prison (Sparta, GA) on the day shift provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff. Key responsibilities include delivering safe, ethical, and evidence-based care; following established safety, security, and infection-control protocols; monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes; collaborating with medical, mental health, and custody teams; and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
