Licensed Practical Nurse

Perform physical examinations, establish medical histories, and evaluate donor suitability to determine eligibility for plasma donation. Build rapport with donors, ensure confidentiality, and provide education regarding general health and counseling for unacceptable test results. Evaluate and manage donor injuries, adverse events, and histories of illness or medications. Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program and assist in staff training while maintaining donor awareness of potential hazards. This role involves standing and sitting for extended periods, light lifting up to 50lbs, and exposure to biological fluids and cold environments below 32 degrees F. Candidates must hold a current LPN, Paramedic, or EMT license with CPR certification.
