Job Summary
Center Medical Specialist at Grifols plasma donation center responsible for evaluating donor suitability through physical exams and medical history, building rapport with donors, maintaining confidentiality, educating donors on health and test results, evaluating donor injuries/adverse events, and assisting in staff training. Administers the Hepatitis vaccine program and supports donor education and counseling. Requires licensure/certification as RN/LPN/LVN/Paramedic/EMT, CPR certification, and bilingual Spanish; role performed in a plasma center with physical duties and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/certified in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT
- Current CPR certification
- Bilingual in Spanish
