Job Summary
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Smethport, PA. Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision; monitor patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical records including medication logs and shift reports; ensure infection control and safety protocols; provide emotional support and advocate for patient needs during rehabilitation; flexible shifts with various evening/night options.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Licensure: Active PA state LPN license and current BLS Certification
- Experience: At least one year of relevant field experience
- Soft Skills: Compassion, reliability, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
