Job Summary
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision while monitoring and documenting patient conditions, vital signs, and progress. Assist with care plan implementation, educate patients and families on post-treatment care, and maintain accurate clinical records including medication logs and shift reports. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies while providing emotional support and advocating for patient needs during rehabilitation. Requires an active MD state LPN license, BLS Certification, and at least one year of relevant field experience. Flexible Per-Diem shifts available from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM EDT at a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Laurel, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Active MD state LPN license
- Current BLS Certification
- At least one year of relevant field experience
