Job Summary
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse needed at a Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rome, NY. Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision; monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; educate patients and families on post-treatment care and recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical records including medication logs and shift reports; ensure infection control and safety protocols; provide emotional support and advocate for patient needs during rehabilitation. Requires NY LPN license and current BLS certification, plus at least one year of relevant experience. Flexible shifts available (11:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with 30-minute breaks. Employment type: Per-Diem 1099. Hourly rate: $31.35.
Required Qualifications
- Active NY state LPN license
- Current BLS Certification
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- At least one year of relevant field experience
