Job Summary
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse for a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danbury, CT with flexible shifts: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Administer medications and wound care under RN supervision; monitor patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation; educate patients and families on post-treatment care; maintain clinical records and shift reports; ensure infection control and facility safety; collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; provide emotional support and advocate for patient needs. Requires completion of an accredited LPN program, active CT LPN license, current BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Active CT state LPN license and current BLS Certification
- At least one year of relevant field experience
