Job Summary
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pikesville, MD. Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision; monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical records and shift reports; ensure infection control and safety protocols; provide emotional support and advocate for patients’ needs during rehabilitation. Flexible shift options include 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 7:00 AM–3:00 PM EDT; 30-minute breaks included.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
- Licensure: Active MD state LPN license and current BLS Certification.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant field experience.
