Job Summary
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse at a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, NJ. Flexible shifts available (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM EDT), with 30-minute breaks. Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision; monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; educate patients and families on post-treatment care and recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical records and ensure infection control and safety protocols; provide emotional support and advocate for patient needs during rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Active NJ state LPN license
- Current BLS Certification
- At least one year of relevant field experience
