Job Summary
Per-Diem Licensed Practical Nurse sought for shifts at a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gambrills, MD. Administer medications and wound care under RN supervision; monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical records including medication logs and shift reports; ensure infection control and safety protocols; provide emotional support and advocate for patients' needs during rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Licensure: Active MD state LPN license and current BLS Certification
- Experience: At least one year of relevant field experience
