Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for flexible, per-diem shifts at a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Frederick, MD. Administer medications, treatments, and wound care under RN supervision; monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs; assist with care plan implementation and collaborate with RNs, therapists, and physicians; educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medications, and recovery goals; maintain accurate clinical records and shift reports; ensure infection control and safety protocols; provide emotional support and advocate for patient needs during rehabilitation. Shifts available 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM EDT with a 30-minute break. Requires completion of an accredited LPN program, active MD LPN license, and current BLS certification; minimum one year of relevant experience. Per-diem, 1099 engagement with hourly rate $33.77.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Licensure: Active MD state LPN license and current BLS Certification
- Experience: At least one year of relevant field experience
