Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist in directing nursing services for a geriatric unit under RN supervision; delegates duties to professional and non-professional nursing staff; monitors patient status for signs of adverse change; notifies attending physician of emergencies and changes in orders; implements physician orders; performs other duties as assigned; requires LPN licensure in North Carolina, high school diploma, CPR certification, and willingness to serve as charge nurse and provide coverage during emergencies. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- CPR certified yearly
- Willing to work as charge nurses, and work as needed during emergencies to assure adequate coverage
