Job Summary
Provide close monitoring and nursing care to adult surgical patients on the General Surgical 4500 unit, specifically managing those with gastric bypass and abdominal procedures. Maintain a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio while supporting patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. Obtain or maintain American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications within 90 days of hire. Work full-time nights with a sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates. Join a collaborative team offering cross-training opportunities across specialty units within the Med Surg Service Line.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
