Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Weekend Shift provides direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting under the RN scope, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Emphasizes patient/family-centered care, adherence to regulatory standards, care coordination, discharge planning, and participation in quality improvement. Requires licensure to practice as an RN or LPN with relevant experience and willingness to work weekend shifts as part of the weekend staffing model.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (RN) or nursing diploma with licensure
- Current RN license (compact/multistate) recognized by the NCSBN or RN license in the state of work
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse (RN)
- In lieu of RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency accepted
- In lieu of Associate degree in nursing, nursing diploma with RN licensure accepted
