Job Summary
Gather patient measurements and collect data, then record and report findings. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments while assisting with procedures under the direction of licensed providers or registered nurses. Support self-care and established care plans, maintain equipment and a safe environment, and utilize standard precautions. Communicate effectively to respond to patient requests and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team. Maintain technical knowledge through workshops, in-services, and quality improvement initiatives. Full-time, 8.5-hour shifts in Rome, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing program
- Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Must receive BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire date
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program
