Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides licensed care under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, ensuring resident/patient plans of care are implemented, safety maintained, and care activities supervised (including nursing assistants). Responsibilities include coordinating and evaluating the resident’s/patient’s plan of care, adhering to standards of care, managing the environment for resident safety, and following Center policies and procedures. Requires state LPN licensure, CPR certification, ability to calculate drug dosages, and effective communication with residents, families, staff, and the broader center team. Weekend shift options (8-hour or 12-hour shifts) with a focus on compassionate, quality care in a home-friendly facility. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
