Job Summary
Conduct nursing care under RN supervision by coordinating, implementing, and evaluating resident plans of care while maintaining safety and supervising nursing assistants. Manage medication dosages, operate equipment such as feeding pumps and oxygen, and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards and Center policies. Provide positive communication with residents, families, and staff while following all applicable health requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
