Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON. Performs duties as a licensed caregiver, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the resident’s plan of care, and ensures resident safety. Follows center policies and state Nurse Practice Act. Works on 12-hour NOC shifts; part-time and full-time opportunities with shift differentials. Requires LPN license in Wisconsin, current CPR certification, ability to calculate drug dosages, and effective communication in English. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English; basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications
