Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the resident's care plan; supervises nursing assistants; ensures safety and adherence to standards of care per state Nurse Practice Act; role involves shifts with flexible hours and a home-friendly environment; requires active LPN licensure and CPR certification, ability to calculate drug dosages, English literacy, and basic computer skills; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and on-demand pay options.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
