Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care under RN supervision, coordinating and evaluating residents' care plans, ensuring safety, and supervising nursing assistants. The role requires LPN licensure in Wisconsin, CPR certification, ability to use clinical equipment, dosage calculation skills, compliance with health requirements, and strong communication with residents and staff. The position supports a variety of shift types (NOC) and offers comprehensive benefits, with duties performed in a long-term/post-acute care setting within North Shore Health's facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
