Job Summary
Coordinate, implement, and evaluate resident care plans under RN Unit Manager supervision while managing the environment to maintain patient safety. Supervise nursing assistants and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards and center policies. Provide direct care to assigned residents, calculate drug dosages, and utilize necessary equipment including feeding pumps and medication carts. Maintain CPR certification and demonstrate positive communication with families, volunteers, and staff. Work full-time, part-time, or casual shifts with wages up to $39.50, including comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(K) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
