Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care under supervision of RN Unit Manager or DON, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the resident’s plan of care. The LPN/LVN adheres to standards of care, maintains resident/patient safety, and supervises nursing assistants in daily activities. Requires LPN license, CPR certification, English literacy, basic computer skills, and ability to relate well with residents and staff. Positioned at North Shore Healthcare's Little Chute location with all shifts available and competitive benefits, including health/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Ability to relate positively with residents, families and staff
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart)
- Meets health requirements imposed by law
