Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for providing licensed nursing care under RN Unit Manager or DON supervision for a shift, coordinating and evaluating residents’/patients’ plans of care, ensuring safety, supervising nursing assistants, and adhering to Nursing Practice Act standards. Weekend scheduling with Saturday AM through Sunday NOC, with 1 weekend off per quarter or 16 hours off; opportunities for full-time or part-time status at River’s Bend Health Services, part of North Shore Healthcare. Must be licensed in Wisconsin, CPR certified, able to use clinical equipment, calculate drug dosages, and communicate effectively in English; strong teamwork and patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to relate positively with residents and staff
- Knowledge of using necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets health requirements
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications
