Licensed Practical Nurse (Full Time)

Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed professional or Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care with other departments and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license within the hiring state, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements. Complete required certifications such as ACLS, PALS, BLS, and LPN-IV certification within specified timeframes. Perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing, walking, and physical movements including gripping, reaching, bending, and squatting. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
- Comparable education experience
- Successful licensure
