Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 3rd shift in Elroy, WI. Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, the LPN/LVN provides licensed care, coordinates and evaluates the resident’s plan of care, and ensures safety. The LPN adheres to the standards of care, supervises nursing assistants, and complies with the State Nurse Practice Act. Requires active LPN license in the state and current CPR certification. Shift is full-time with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other employee programs. The role is with North Shore Healthcare’s Elroy location, part of a multi-center post-acute provider network.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
