Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Full-Time 3rd Shift at North Shore Healthcare in Elroy, WI. Provides licensed care for residents, coordinates and evaluates plans of care under RN Unit Manager or DON, supervises nursing assistants, and adheres to state Nurse Practice Act standards. Requires active LPN licensure in the state, current CPR certification, ability to use medical equipment, calculate drug dosages, and strong communication in English; work in a skilled nursing/post-acute care setting with a team that values trust, engagement, competence, respect, and passion.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English. Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
