Job Summary
Coordinate resident care under RN supervision by implementing and evaluating individual plans of care while maintaining safety standards and supervising nursing assistants. Manage medication administration, calculate drug dosages, and operate equipment such as feeding pumps and oxygen treatments. Adhere to state Nurse Practice Act guidelines and facility policies to deliver exceptional, resident-centered care across the post-acute network.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
