Job Summary
Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON, perform as a licensed caregiver assuming responsibility and accountability for assigned residents or patients. Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the resident's plan of care while adhering to state standards and managing the environment to maintain safety. Supervise the resident or patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and follow all center policies and procedures as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintain CPR certification and calculate drug dosages using necessary supplies and equipment. Work full-time or part-time shifts with flexible scheduling and access to comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(K) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge
- Ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
