Job Summary
Night-shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing admissions, screenings, medication administration, treatment planning, and nursing care; supervises subordinate staff; maintains medical records and documentation; ensures infection control; performs vital signs, administering of and noting response to medication, first-aid, specimen collection for lab work, and infection control/assessment; completes and maintains documentation such as medication records/reports, progress notes, client files, charting logbooks; coordinates with physicians and emergency services; requires LPN license and AA/BS in related field; minimum 2 years healthcare experience; TN location with full-time night schedule and rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN license from state of employment.
- LPN certification, AA or BS in related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in healthcare.
- Venipuncture and TB skin testing experience, current CPR, AED and first aid.
- Experience in addiction, mental health and behavioral health preferred.
- CPR/First Certification required at time of hire or obtained within the required number of days after start of employment.
