Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice while working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff. Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse at McRae State Prison. Maintain active CPR certification and complete required drug screening and criminal background checks to obtain security clearance. Work the 6am to 6:30pm day shift three times weekly with rotating weekends. Earn $31 to $36 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Availability for days shifts, 3 shifts per week 6am-6:30pm, with rotating weekends
